WebOct 11, 2015 · Pull the intake piping from the turbo inlet and wiggle the compressor wheel. That will tell you if the turbo is kaput. That oil pressure should not drop like that either. Another test is to pull the oil filter and cut it open then cut a 3" by 3" section out of the filter paper. Squeeze all the oil out of the filter.
